Before Lightbox Consulting, I worked on sites installing and project managing security and communication tech.

I know what you’re thinking. “The dreamiest job in the whole world, Kale – right up there with professional beer drinker, musician and magical unicorn fairy princess. Wow, you must be so fun at parties.”

So, it might shock you to know that when I was made redundant and offered other roles in the industry (because, hello, certified nerd)… I turned them all down.

Why? Because I constantly saw bad designs. Unusable systems. Clunky tech.

It drove me crazy. And I knew there was a way to make designs better, easier, and more efficient.

So after side-gigging for 5 years, in 2013, I had a bright idea. A lightbulb moment. I’d go full-time with my own business. And here we are.
